130 & 32X Bus Route During S2S Road Closures

20 Oct 2016

The 130 route is being diverted for the duration of these road closures.  With effect from the first bus on Monday 24th October the 130 will turn left up Seafield Road, right onto St Gabriel’s Road and left onto Mt Prospect Ave on its way out of town and reverse this on the way into town.

In effect this means that there will be no 130 service to the people on:

  • the Clontarf Road from Seafield Road to Mt Prospect Ave,
  • Mt Prospect Ave from Clontarf Road to St Gabriels Road,
  • Dollymount Park, Dollymount Ave, or Baymount.

The CRA asked that Dublin Bus consider

a turning circle for buses on Mt Prospect Ave - we have been advised that this is not possible.

a shuttle or “Imp” style bus to provide even a limited service on the missing part of the route - we have yet to receive a response to this request.

stops on the diverted route - this has been agreed to.

We were not consulted on the location of these stops but have been informed that they will be located on Seafield Road at and opposite House No 140 and on St Gabriel’s Road at opposite the green space at Seacourt.

The School Bus service to St Fintan’s High School Sutton will resume its normal route - outbound along the coast road and inbound along James Larkin Road and turning right at Mt Prospect Ave.
