About Worth;
With old age advancing rapidly, Jenny Lavelle has retreated to the familiar surroundings of her kitchen, the only room she inhabits in her rambling Dublin 4 residence. The loss of Nancy, her best friend and neighbour for fifty years has left Jenny feeling bereft. It is 2007, the country is firmly in the grip of the Celtic Tiger but cracks are beginning to appear.
