Tuesdays With Morrie at the Viking Theatre

21 Jul 2014 - 01 Aug 2014 The Viking Theatre

'Tuesdays With Morrie' is the dramatisation of Mitch Albom autobiography, a journalist. Mitch had a close relationship with his college professor, Morrie Schwartz. Over sixteen years after his graduation, Mitch discovers that Morrie is suffering from Lou Gehrig's disease (motor neurone disease). Mitch and Morrie are reunited, and what was meant to be a once-off catch-up soon turns into a week-long journey of self discovery. The two people, both at very different stages in life, learn a huge amount from one another.

Although there are lots of painful life lessons along the way, 'Tuesdays With Morrie' is incredibly comical, balancing the serious with the silly perfectly. A wonderful piece by director Breda Cache.

'Tuesdays With Morrie' is guaranteed to be a worthy trip to the theatre. It features incredible performances by Terry Byrne and Andrew Murray. Like we said, the play is back due to popular demand, so book tickets early to avoid disappointment!
