'At Home' Regatta and Entertainment at the Clontarf Yacht and Boat Club

The Commodore and Members would like to invite you to the annual 'At Home' event on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July from 12:30-18:00 at the Clontarf Yacht and Boatclub.

Each day will be split into two as follows:

'At Home' Regatta (12:30 - 15:00 - Sat and Sun):

We would like to invite all clubs around the area for an afternoon of sailing and fun. Our aim is to bring life back to the seafront! This is an open invitation to newbies, aspiring and experienced sailors, from both Clontarf and beyond. The details are as follows:

Regatta Details

Time: 12:30 - 15:00

Cost:

  • €15 (Dinghies - Saturday only)
  • €30 All other classes covers both days
  • €25 early bird fee (for two day entries with payment) received on or before Wednesday July 15th

Entertainment (15:00 - 18:00 - Sat and Sun)

We extend this invitation to all our former juniors and past members those who feel they may enjoy an afternoon catching up with old friends, this is an opportunity to mix and mingle with new and former members.

There will be a full programme of entertainment with supervised bouncing castles for the younger ones.

Saturday Music from Bryan Smyth and guests

The fabulous Bryan Smyth and Guests, singer and entertainer will be performing 3-6pm promising an afternoon of entertainment, music and fun. 

If you love songs from Sinatra, Cole Porter, Deano, Elvis, and many more .don't miss this afternoon. Bryan is a well-known singer and actor and his hit show “It’s not the Answer” ran for four years on RTE.

He has also opened and closed the 2000 RTE New Year’s Eve show. He has appeared in the Variety Club with Tony Bennett and Julie Andrews. He has also appeared with Andy Williams and was a frequent guest on The Lyrics Board game show. He has performed for Prince Charles at the London Palladium and in 2012 Bryan toured the USA as leading male vocalist in an Irish-themed show. 

Sunday music from Gerry Jago and guests

Gerry has played at the RNLI Club Fund raiser for the last four years at CYBC and always produces a great performance folk rock ballads and country. 

Along with being a wonderful performer Gerry teaches music locally at the CRC.
