The Federation of Local History Societies AGM

The Federation of Local History Societies was established in 1981 to promote the interests of amateur historians and voluntary museums and the federation now has more than one hundred members. Kay Lonergan, chairperson of the Clontarf Historical Society is a an executive Committee Member of the Federation.

The Federation of Local History Societies is holding their AGM here in Clontarf tomorrow (Saturday 10th May), hosted by the Clontarf Historical Society. Thanks to Nolans for part sponsoring this event.

The AGM will be held in the Clasac, Alfie Byrne Road.

The program is as follows:

9.45 - 10.30am Registration - Tea / Coffee

10.30 - 10.45am Official Opening by Councillor Jane Horgan Jones, representative of the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Oisin Quinn

10.45 - 12.15pm Official AGM business

12.15 - 13.30pm Society Spake

13.30 - 15.00pm Lunch in Bram Stoker Hotel

15.00 - 17.00pm Guided tour of Heritage Trail by Dennis McIntyre

 

There is a €5 charge payable on the door to attend the AGM. If you wish to attend the lunch cost is €19 for 2 courses.
