The Battle of Clontarf in History & Legend
'The Battle of Clontarf in History & Legend' is a special public lecture taking place on the campus of NUI Maynooth on Tuesday 30th September. The lecture will begin at 7pm.
Colm Lennon is professor emeritus of history at the university, as well as a member of the Royal Irish Academy. His research about the early modern period of Irish history has been published numerous times.
Professor Lennon published a book about the history of Clontarf earlier this year, entitled 'That Field of Glory: the story of Clontarf from battleground to garden suburb.'
