'Some Enchanted Evening' , Concert in St. John the Baptist Church

Bryan Hoey, an internationally renowned tenor and a parishioner, will lead the bill. He will also be the show’s compere. Other artists include Roisin O’Reilly, who has sung at the National Concert Hall and who will be known by many from the parish as the singer at the 6:00pm Vigil Mass on Saturdays. Eoin Tierney will provide the organ music for the evening, and the concert will also feature the impressionist Gerry Lavelle and Noel Carroll, an international violinist. Tickets for this event can be purchased in the Church porch after the masses, or by contacting the parish office at 01-833 4606. Adult tickets cost €10 and children tickets are €5. All funds raised from this event will go directly towards funding the repainting cost of the church.
