Sculpture Dublin Free Photography Workshop @ Red Stables

25 Mar 2022 - 23 Apr 2022 The Red Stables, Tack Room

Sculpture Dublin will host a Pinhole Photography Workshop in St Anne's this Friday 25th & Saturday 26th March and a second workshop on Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd April.

Join artist Sophie Behal for a 2-day workshop, where you will construct your own pinhole camera from everyday items, shoot your photos within St Anne’s Park and develop the images in a temporary darkroom!

Echoing the focus of the proposed land art commission for St Anne’s Park on landscape and nature, participants will have the opportunity to experiment with composition, light and other image-making techniques.

Friday evening’s workshop will concentrate on making different types of cameras - from card, film spools, matchboxes and tins. In Saturday’s workshop, you will create your images and experience the magic of analogue photography by developing your photographs in a darkroom and watching the images appear!
