Clontarf Lawn Tennis Club are delighted to welcome Paddy Casey to the Club on Saturday, March 28th at part of their CLTC 'Legends' Series.
Born in Dublin, Paddy Casey got his first guitar when he was 11. He left home and went busking and gigging for about 12 years. At 24, he was approached by an A&R scout from Sony and they released the album. ‘AMEN (So Be It)’ in 1999. After this release, Paddy toured a lot with acts like The Pretenders, R.E.M, Ian Brown, Blondie, Tracy Chapman.
Paddy Casey has gone from Dublin busker to one of Ireland's biggest selling-artists, has headlined Irish festivals, Dublin Castle, played a week-long residency in the Olympia Theatre, performed his own headline concert in the RDS, has supported many top names worldwide including U2 and has played live on The Late Show with David Letterman
