Maritime Dublin from Old Photographs - talk from Cormac Lowth at CYBC
Cormac Lowth gives a illustrated talk on the history of Dublin Maritime aided by a large collection of very old, rare, and interesting photographs.
Cormac Lowth has served on the councils of the Maritime Institute of Ireland and the Old Dublin Society and is a member of the Irish Maritime Archaeological Society and the Historical Diving Society.
He is presently a committee member of the Dun Laoghaire Borough Historical Society. Cormac has spent several years at sea on merchant ships and has been a diver for many years. He has written many articles of historical and travel interest for several diving and historical magazines and journals.
The talk takes places on Friday, February 10th at 8:30 pm. Bar and refreshments will be available.
