'March Away My Brothers' at the Viking.
Running for two nights only, this production recounts the journey of a young Lad, Lawrence Kelly from Bridgefort Street in Dublin’s Liberties to the Christmas Truce in Flanders in 1914, and an impromptu meeting of soldiers from both sides, on a bitter cold Christmas Eve in an area known as ‘no man’s land’. Both the book and the show were written to highlight the importance of the role that music had to play in the lives of the troops at that time. Not to be missed !
