Loom Band Charity Sale
Two local Clontarf girls will be selling loom band jewellery this coming Sunday in order to raise funds for Bee for Battens. Bee for Battens is an Irish charity who raise awareness for and support those who suffer from Battens Disease, a rare neuro-degenerative disease that mainly affects children. There is currently no cure.
The girls will be selling their loom jewellery outside Mace on St. Gabriel's road this Sunday. If you're in the area, please drop by and donate to this very worthy cause. We would also like to extend our praise to the two girls involved - it is wonderful to see Clontarf's young people embracing philanthropy at such an early age. These two are really setting a great example!
