Lily & Lolly; Yeats & his Sisters
This year marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of W.B. Yeats, one of Ireland's greatest literary figures. In honour of this, Sinead Murphy and Darina Gallagher are performing their new piece Lily & Lolly: Yeats & his Sisters which explores the relationship Lily and Lolly Yeats had with their brothers Willie and Jack, and their father John B. Yeats.
Through poetry, storytelling and song, Lily & Lolly tells the story of the sisters and their Dublin printing company Cuala Press. The event is part of the 2015 St. Anne's Park Rose Festival, and takes place from 3pm - 4pm on both the 18th and 19th of July. This is a must-see for any literary fans and promises to be a highlight of the festival!
