Information Evening: Gracefield Road to Vernon Avenue Walking and Cycling Scheme
DCC received over 780 submissions in relation to this proposal and, given the level of interest, they have now decided to hold the Information Evening about the scheme.
The Information Evening will take place on Tuesday next, 25th July, from 4pm to 7pm. It will be held in the Artane Coolock Family Resource Centre on Gracefield Road, Artane.
CRA did request a similar event at the Clontarf end of the scheme or if there was to be only one event that it be held in a more central location but to no avail.
DCC are also providing a further period from Monday 24th to Monday 31st July for people to make observations on this scheme.
Previous posts on this matter can be viewed here, here and here.
Full details of the proposal, including maps and drawings can be found at

CRA would encourage you to attend the Information Evening and, if you have not already done so, to have your voice heard by making observations to DCC on this scheme. You can provide feedback directly to DCC by email to ActiveTravelOffice@dublincity.ie.
We would like to remind residents that this project is just one of many active travel schemes being developed by DCC, with the aim of expanding the Active Travel Network from an existing 10km to a total 310km across the city. Decisions on these schemes are made by DCC officials and they are not a reserved function of our elected representatives.
