Heritage Week 2013 event in Clontarf
As the millennium of the Battle of Clontarf and the death of Brian Boru fast approaches, the Clontarf 2014 Committee are busy preparing for the commemorations. Join them on a leisurely walk along the proposed Heritage Trail route on Clontarf Promenade from the Alfie Byrne Road to the Wooden Bridge and hear about Clontarf 1000 years ago. We will also stop at points of interest along the way.
Event Title: Brian Boru and the Battle of Clontarf Heritage Trail Walk
Date: Sunday 25th August 2.30pm -4pm
Meet at the "Sails" Sculpture near the junction of Clontarf Road and Alfie Byrne Road.
Walk is suitable for wheelchair access. Walk is suitable for families and children.
