Alongside spoken word & poetry from female Irish writers (Edna O’Brien, Sara Berkeley and more) Edel performs new and well-loved Irish & North American modern classics by great female artists such as Joan Baez, Natalie Merchant, Mary Black and Carsie Blanton, evoking the universal experiences of working life, independence, love, inequality, and the search for social justice.
