Concert in Aid of Don Bosco Care
A fundraising concert will take place in St. Agnes' Church, Crumlin on Friday 18th September. The fundraiser is in aid of Don Bosco Care, a charity organisation based here in Clontarf.
Don Bosco Care provides shelter and support for young people, whose home lives have become unsafe. The children have a home at Don Bosco, and are helped to reach their full potential in a safe environment, under the care of professionals and dedicated staff.
The concert will be performed by The Island of Ireland Peace Choir, which formed in the aftermath of the 1998 Omagh bombings. Comprised of both Catholics and Protestants from Omagh, as well as the rest of Ireland and the UK, the choir members believe that what unites them as Christians is much stronger than anything that could divide them.
Tickets for this event are €10 (children under 12 go free) and can be booked by calling 01 8336009, emailing fundraising@donbococare.ie or visiting their website
Don Bosco Care are also offering businesses in Clontarf an opportunity to advertise in the event souvenir programme which will be provided free of charge to those in attendance.
