Clontarf Tourism: Open talks at Easter 2017
Easter in Dublin will always be associated with two major historical events both of which greatly influenced our evolvement as a nation.
The events are the Easter 1014 battle of Clontarf and the 1916 Easter rising.This Easter (April 2017) I will be presenting PowerPoint dissertations on both events in the Viking Theatre Clontarf Road as follows
1. Brian Boru and the 1014 Battle of Clontarf
Easter Saturday April 15th at 2pm.
2. Irish Nationalism, Irish Republican and the 1916 Easter Rising
Easter Sunday April 16th at 2pm.
