Clontarf Players Presenting 'Radium Girls' for One Last Performance
We are delighted to announce that the Clontarf Players will bring their award-winning production of 'Radium Girls to the Clasac Theatre one last time before heading to the All-Ireland finals in Athlone. Their appearance in the finals bridges an almost 30-year gap since a Clontarf group appeared there.
This will also be the group's first appearance at the Clasac theatre.
Mark your calendars for the 30th of April at 7:30 pm for a night of theatre you won't want to miss.
About the play:
Set in 1926, "Radium Girls" delves into a haunting story where radium was hailed as a miracle cure, Madame Curie was a global icon, and glowing watches were all the rage—until tragedy struck. Inspired by real events, the play follows Grace Fryer, a dial painter, in her courageous battle for justice.
