Clontarf Players Easter Play: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot
The Clontarf Players are pleased to announce the launch of their new Easter play The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, written by Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Breffni McGuinness.
Last year's production 'Veil' was well received by almost 700 people across three venues in the Clontarf area. The Clontarf Players look forward to performing again this year.
This year the play will be performed over the following dates and venues:-
Friday 27th March, St. Joseph’s Church, Bonnybrook, D17 @ 8pm
Saturday 28th March, St. John’s Church, Clontarf, D3 @ 8pm
Sunday 29th March, St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf, D3 @ 7pm
Monday 30th March, All Hallows College, Drumcondra, D9 @ 8pm

Play Synopsis
The Last Days of Judas Iscariot is a court-room drama in which history's most infamous betrayal is dissected by forces of good and evil. In a court room that owes as much to the ghetto as to the Gospels. Figures such as Satan, Mother Teresa and Henrietta Iscariot are called to testify in a trial of God and the Kingdom of Heaven and Earth versus Judas Iscariot. Can the ultimate betrayal be forgiven?
Booking Information
All four venues have ample seating available. There is no need to book your seats in advance. Just arrive in good time on the night. Ideally, 10 minutes before the performance is due to begin.
FREE admission to all performances. A donation towards production costs would be appreciated.

Venues and directions
The play will run over four nights in the run up to Easter:

St. Josephs Church Bonnybrook is just off Greencastle Road in Coolock and can be accessed from the Malahaide Rd. St. John's is the easiest venue to find. It's located on the Clontarf Road just before Vernon Ave if you are coming from the City Centre. Car parking opposite the church is free after 7pm. St. Anthony's is a little trickier. Coming from the city centre, you will need to take a left onto St. Lawrence Rd, just before the Yacht pub. After only 70 yards, you will see a narrow (one way) lane way that leads you to the (free) church car park. The entrance to All Hallows is on Gracepark Rd in Drumcondra almost opposite the entrance to Pobalscoil Rosmini. As you drive in, you should keep left and you will see the church. There are a number of car parks on the campus.
