The fourth and final talk in the Clontarf Historical Society's new season of talks by Rhona McCord focuses on the Dublin Corporation housing scheme at Marino. Rhona tells the story of the Irish state’s first attempt at public housing, at Marino in north Dublin in 1924. Rhona is a PhD student in TCD and is working on her thesis ‘Post World War Two Suburban Development of Dublin’ Her talk is based on her research to date. Talk starts at 8:15 pm.
