Clontarf Historical Society Talk by Padraig Laffan

The third talk of the Clontarf Historical Society's new season by Padraig Laffan focuses on the development of Dublin Bay. His talk, under the above title, examines, with pictures, drawings, maps, and charts the beginning of settlement along the river Liffey eventually becoming not only Dublin city, but also its great port. He also examines the great engineering feat of the construction and placing of the radical Kish Light,now 30 years on site. Talk starts at 8:15 pm.
