Clontarf Historical Society talk by Michael Hurley

Michael Hurley, who was born in Baldoyle, is a local historian who has a life-long interest in the history of the area and has written several books about it. The topics of the books range from the heritage of horse racing in the village to the wild flowers of the region and to general histories of the locality. In addition he has a superb collection of some 3,000 photographs of Baldoyle that will be a valuable contribution to its historical memory. Michael’s talk to the society will be wide-ranging and will cover aspects of many of the topics .
