Clontarf Historical Society - November Talk

Clontarf Historical Society will host their talk for November on Monday 14th at 8.15 pm in the Resource Centre at St John's, Clontarf Road. 

The subject of the talk will be "Arthur Griffith with James Joyce & W.B.Yeates – Liberating Ireland", and will be given by Anthony Jordan. 

"Arthur Griffith and Maud Sheehan married and settled in Clontarf. He wrote to her from Reading Jail on 24th Nov. 1916 “My love to you on our anniversary. I hope Clontarf storms are past and you are having a calm time again”."

Clontarf Historical Society meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 8.15 pm, in the Resource Centre, St John The Baptist Church, Clontarf Road.
