The Clontarf Historical Society will host their talk for June 2019 on Monday 10th, at 8.15pm

June's talk is titled 'History of St.Annes House and Estate and the Guinness Family Connections' and will be given by Joan Sharkey 

The lecture tells the story of St. Anne's estate established by the Guinness brewery family from a small estate of 50 acres, called Thornhill in 1835 to become by 1878 an estate of almost 500 acres with famous gardens and parkland and its later developments by Dublin City Council

Clontarf Historical Society meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 8.15 p.m. in the RESOURCE CENTRE, beside ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH, CLONTARF ROAD
