Clontarf Historical Society - AGM followed by talk on Roger Casement & l916

Clontarf Historical Society will host their AGM and talk for October on Monday 10th at 8.15 pm in the Resource Centre at St John's, Clontarf Road. 

The subject of the talk will be "Roger Casement & 1916", and will be given by dr. Charles Hannon. 

"This talk explains Casement's involvement in 1916. The importance of the declaration of German support for Irish Independence is outlined as is his entanglement with the hurried IRB plans resulting in Plunkett's grand deception to force an immediate Rising."

Clontarf Historical Society meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 8.15 pm, in the Resource Centre, St John The Baptist Church, Clontarf Road.
