Bull Island Clean Up | August 2018
The Bull Island Action Group ‘Monthly Beach Clean Up’ for August 2018, will take place on Saturday the 18th.
Those wishing to volunteer are asked to arrive at the entrance to Dollymount Strand (beside Happy Out) at 10:50 AM, in order to begin the clean up as quickly as possible.
Dublin City Council will provide a tractor and trailer, plus a driver, to remove and dispose of all the rubbish collected by volunteers. The Dublin Port Company will provide litter-picking equipment, such as litter-pickers, bin bag hoops, rubbish bags and gloves.
The weather forecast for Saturday is partly cloudy with no rain, and a temperature of 22 C. Nonetheless, so don't forget to wear sun protection. Good footwear is also essential.
This is a great opportunity to make a difference in our community and keep Clontarf looking beautiful!
