Bull Island Action Group March Beach Clean Up | Paddy's Day 2018
The Bull Island Action Group Monthly Beach Clean Up for March 2018 will take place this Paddy's Day, Saturday 17th.
Those wishing to volunteer are asked to arrive at the entrance to Dollymount Strand (just past Royal Dublin Golf Club) at 10:45 AM, in order to begin the clean up at 11 AM
Dublin City Council will provide a tractor and trailer, plus a driver, to remove and dispose of all the rubbish collected by volunteers. The Dublin Port Company will provide litter-picking equipment, such as litter-pickers, bin bag hoops, rubbish bags and gloves.
Be sure to wrap up with layers. Sturdy footwear and thick socks are essential and rubber boots are always a good idea.
Saturday will be partly cloudy with no rain forecast a cool temperature of 5 C and a fresh breeze. Volunteers are advised to wrap up well. (And don't forget to dawn your green, white and gold!)
This is a great opportunity to make a difference in our community and keep Clontarf looking beautiful!
