Bull Island Action Group | July Beach Clean
The Bull Island Action Group Monthly Beach Clean Up for July 2018 will take place this Saturday, 21st.
Those wishing to volunteer are asked to arrive at the entrance to Dollymount Strand (just past Royal Dublin Golf Club) at 10:45 AM, in order to begin the clean up at 11 AM
Dublin City Council will provide a tractor and trailer, plus a driver, to remove and dispose of all the rubbish collected by volunteers. The Dublin Port Company will provide litter-picking equipment, such as litter-pickers, bin bag hoops, rubbish bags and gloves.
The weather for Saturday is set to be partly cloudy with no rain forecast. There will be a light breeze of 4m/s from the west. The temperature is forecast to be 16 C.. Sturdy footwear and thick socks are essential and rubber boots are always a good idea. Despite it set to be overcast, bringing suncream is a good idea too as UV rays can still permeate the clouds.
Why not bring a friend or family member along? The more volunteers the more work that can be done!
