Bull Island Action Group - Final Beach Cleanup of 2015!
The Bull Island Action Group ‘Monthly Beach Clean Up’ for December, will take place on Saturday the 19th. This will be the final cleanup of 2015
Those wishing to volunteer are asked to arrive at the entrance to Dollymount Strand at 10:50AM, in order to begin the clean up as quickly as possible.
Dublin City Council will provide a tractor and trailer, plus a driver, to remove and dispose of all the rubbish collected by volunteers. The Dublin Port Company will provide litter-picking equipment, such as litter-pickers, bin bag hoops, rubbish bags and gloves.
The weather forecast for Saturday is some rain and strong breezes, with a temperature of 14 C. Volunteers are advised to Wrap up well and wear a rain jacket.Good footwear and thick socks are essential and rubber boots are always a good idea.
All volunteers are invited to the Clontarf Yacht & Boat Club following the cleanup, for festive hot drinks and mince pies.
