Bloomsday 2015
To celebrate Bloomsday 2015, Clontarf Yacht & Boat Club are organising a leisurely cycle leaving the club at 12.00pm on Sunday the 14th of June.
The group shall proceed to the Forty Foot in Glasthule . On arrival, those who wish can take a pre-lunch swim before the group visits the Joyce Centre.
Lunch is optional - you can bring a picnic or retire to a local hostelry for a beer or coffee.
Back at the club, a traditional Sunday Supper of coddle followed by desert will be served from 5.30pm onwards. Dinner will be followed by music and some readings of Joyce’s work. Why not get into the spirit of the day by dressing up in period clothes!

NOTE: Bloomsday takes place on the 16th of June each year, which is a Tuesday in 2015. CY&BC will celebrate the day on Sunday 14th June instead.
