Battle of Clontarf Heritage Trail
Delve into the dense history of Clontarf on this inspiring heritage trail along Clontarf seafront to wooden bridge. Hosted by Collette Gill, this guided heritage trail will explore the historic battle commemorated by the Clontarf Historical Society and Raheny Heritage Society. The walk also forms part of the National Brian Boru Trail linking Clontarf, Killaloe, Cashel and Armagh.
This event is taking place as part of Culture Connent 2014, an initiative that provides historical events in many areas around Dublin. History & Heritage on YOUR doorstep!
Meet at the 'Sails Sculpture' at the junction of the Alfie Byrne Road and the Clontarf Road. This event will take place on both Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st, starting at 1pm each day.
