Astronomical Observing in Clontarf
The Irish Astronomical Society (IAS) have organised their next public outreach activity in Clontarf for Saturday 31st January 2015. Weather permitting, the IAS will offer guests the opportunity to view the moon, the planet Jupiter and its moons as well as many other celestial objects.
This event will commence at 8pm in the car park opposite the Clontarf Yacht and Boat Club.
Should poor weather be an issue, the IAS are willing to reschedule for Sunday night (February 1st).
This is a free of charge event. The IAS ran a similar event in Clontarf last year which was a huge success.
